Built to scale: how Aumatics turned its website into a growth engine

Built to scale, not just to launch
How Aumatics turned a static website into a compounding growth engine.
About Aumatics
Aumatics is a Dutch cybersecurity and managed IT provider serving enterprise and mid-market organisations with complex security requirements. Its service portfolio spans cybersecurity, identity security, OT (operational technology) security, managed IT services, and IT consultancy—positioning it as a single partner for organisations that would otherwise need to combine several specialised vendors.
The Challenge
As Aumatics grew, so did its ambitions: more services, more target audiences, more content, and more markets. But the website was still built for the company Aumatics used to be, and it had quietly become the bottleneck standing between the business and where it wanted to go next.
Three issues were compounding the problem. First, every new campaign, service update, or positioning shift meant waiting for development capacity that was not available. Marketing had no way to move independently of the development backlog.
Second, five distinct service lines—cybersecurity, identity security, OT security, managed IT, and consultancy—were competing for the same homepage attention without a clear hierarchy. This diluted the proposition for enterprise buyers trying to determine whether Aumatics could solve their specific problem.
Third, despite the strength of the service offering, Aumatics had almost no visibility in the search positions where buyers actually click. The business was better than it ranked, and that gap was quietly costing qualified opportunities every month.
The Solution
Overflow rebuilt Aumatics’ digital foundation on Webflow, engineered from the ground up to scale, not just to launch.
The core of the rebuild was a scalable CMS structure with content types and templates built for growth. New service pages, case studies, and campaigns can now go live without involving a developer.
We restructured the service positioning around how enterprise buyers actually evaluate their needs. Urgent, incident-driven services such as MDR and SOC were separated from longer-cycle strategic needs such as OT security and consultancy. Each service received a clear path instead of competing for the same limited attention.
Alongside the rebuild, we consistently executed a long-term SEO strategy throughout the collaboration. We also invested early in AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), positioning Aumatics to be cited—not just ranked—as more buyer research takes place inside AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Copilot.
The Results
Over a 12-month measurement period, Aumatics achieved more than 300% marketing ROI on website-sourced leads, signed eight new high-ticket clients sourced directly through the website, and grew its number of top-three keyword rankings by almost tenfold—all without another structural rebuild as the business and service portfolio expanded.
Just as importantly, the marketing team no longer has to wait for developer availability to launch a new page or campaign. The foundation created during this project is the same one Aumatics uses today for ongoing SEO, AEO, and content marketing. It was designed to compound, not to be replaced.
If your marketing team is waiting on developers to keep pace with a growing service portfolio—and your website undersells a business that is more capable than it looks—this is the exact gap we close.
