Overflow builds your website in Webflow and connects it to monday.com, so inquiries land on the right board and approved board items publish to your site. Book a call
Out of the box, a Webflow form stores the submission and emails someone. As Webflow's own monday.com guide puts it, without a webhook, connected app or custom action, nothing assigns the lead, tracks its status or hands it to the right person. So someone copies it into monday.com by hand.
The content side has the same gap in reverse. Blog posts, open roles and case studies get approved on a monday.com board. Then someone retypes them into the Webflow CMS.
Here's what most teams don't expect: there is no monday.com app in the Webflow Marketplace, and Webflow isn't among monday.com's native integration blocks, which cover Slack, Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Salesforce. Every Webflow monday.com integration is an embed, an automation platform or a custom API build. That makes it a design decision, not an install.
That's what we engineer. monday.com stays where your team works. Webflow becomes the site marketing runs without developers. A mapped, tested and documented connection runs in both directions.
- Publish and launch campaigns without waiting for developers.
- Send every website inquiry to the right board, group and owner, complete and with its source.
- Publish approved board items to the Webflow CMS without copy-paste.
Let's talk, or first see how we approach Webflow integrations.
monday.com is where your work lives. Your website should feed it, and be fed by it
monday.com is a work management platform built on boards, items, groups and columns. According to Webflow's guide, the same core runs monday CRM, monday dev and monday service. For many B2B teams it isn't only the sales pipeline. It's the editorial calendar, the recruiting board and the project tracker too.
So the integration has two jobs, not one:
- Website to board: inquiries, demo requests, job applications and briefs become items on the right board.
- Board to website: approved posts, open roles, listings and case studies become items in your Webflow CMS collections.
The old way: a one-way Zap from a vendor template, built for form-to-item. Content still gets copied by hand, and nobody owns the connection.
The Overflow way: map both directions first. Pick the least complex method that meets them. Document it so your team owns it.
Most of what ranks for this topic is tool vendors explaining a one-way form sync through their own product. Useful if you only need that. But if your team runs content and hiring in monday.com, half the job is missing.
Who this is for
B2B marketing leads, founders and commercial directors whose team runs its work in monday.com, whether that's monday CRM or monday work management. Your website is either a WordPress site marketing can't update without a developer, or a Webflow site where data still moves by hand.
The trigger is usually one of these: a funding round, a rebrand, new service lines or markets, a careers push, organic traffic that has gone flat, or sales saying web leads arrive late or incomplete.
Is the problem monday.com, or the website?
Teams sometimes start looking at a new CRM or work tool when the friction sits in the publishing layer: rigid templates, slow page builds, forms nobody can change. If monday.com works for your team, replacing the website is the smaller project. So we ask that question first.

Three ways to connect Webflow and monday.com
Webflow's guide lists three approaches and notes that most implementations combine two or more. Our rule: use the least complex method that meets the requirements. Here's each one on the same terms.
monday.com WorkForms and board views in a Code Embed
A monday.com WorkForm placed in a Webflow Code Embed writes each submission into a board as a new item. Anyone can submit it without a monday.com account.
- Best for: a quick intake form where field mapping and Webflow styling don't matter much.
- monday.com requirement: basic WorkForm embedding has no plan restriction in monday.com's WorkForms settings docs. Hiding monday.com branding needs Pro or Enterprise; password protection needs Enterprise.
- Webflow requirement: a Core, Growth, Agency or Freelancer Workspace, or an active Site plan. Each Code Embed holds up to 50,000 characters and only renders on the published site.
- Design control: low. It's an iframe styled in monday.com, and it can leave whitespace below the form until the height is fixed in the embed code or with CSS.
A public board view shows a live, read-only slice of a board, for example a client status page. Only board owners can share a view. Hidden columns, restricted columns and mirrored items don't show, and boards with Item Viewing permissions can't be shared at all. Enterprise accounts with HIPAA turned on can't share boards or views. Dashboards only show to monday.com account holders, so they can't be embedded for anonymous visitors.
One thing to remember: embeds display data. They don't move it.
Native Webflow forms and CMS through Zapier, Make or n8n
Keep native Webflow forms, with full design control and every submission stored in Webflow, and let an automation platform create or update monday.com items. It works in reverse too: a new board item creates a live Webflow CMS item, and a column value change updates one.
- Webflow New Form Submission → monday.com Create Item.
- Webflow New or Updated Order → monday.com Create or Update Item.
- monday.com New Item in Board → Webflow Create Live Item.
- monday.com Specific Column Values Changed → Webflow Update Live Item.
CMS item created, changed or deleted events need a Webflow webhook; Zapier lists no collection item triggers for this pairing.
- Best for: designed forms at moderate volume, and simple publishing from one board.
- monday.com requirement: automations and integrations are only available on Standard and up; the Free plan has none. Integration actions are capped per month: 250 on Standard, 25,000 on Pro, 250,000 on Enterprise. monday.com itself says Standard suits simple one-way syncs, and that a two-way sync with a tool you use daily may not be a good fit.
- Design control: full. The form is built in Webflow.
- Limits: a cost per task on the automation platform and one more system to own. Zapier only sees a Webflow form after it has received one submission, and it can't map Webflow reference or multi-reference CMS fields. Make retired its v1 monday.com modules on 1 May 2026, so older scenarios need rebuilding on v2.
Custom build with the Webflow Data API and monday.com GraphQL API
A server-side endpoint on Webflow Cloud, Cloudflare Workers or Vercel Functions receives webhooks, holds the tokens and controls mapping, deduplication, error handling and both directions. Webflow sites don't run backend logic themselves, so this piece lives outside the site.
- Website to board: a Webflow form_submission webhook fires, the endpoint verifies its signature, then calls the create_item mutation on monday.com's GraphQL API.
- Board to website: a monday.com create_item or status-change webhook fires, then the endpoint creates or updates live CMS items through the Webflow Data API v2.
- Best for: deduplication, routing to several boards, column types automations handle poorly, reference fields and editorial status sync.
- Design control: full, plus logic before data reaches either system.
- Limits: development time and upkeep. We only use it when the data flow needs it.
One security rule we never bend: a monday.com API token never goes in a Code Embed or page custom code. That code runs in the browser, so the token becomes public. monday.com's own guidance also advises against unscoped global tokens for most apps.
Upkeep is real. Webflow's v1 API was deprecated on 31 March 2025, so we build on Data API v2 only. A custom connection needs an owner, not just a builder.
Is there a monday.com app for Webflow?
No. The Webflow Marketplace has no monday.com app. A third-party listing called Webflow Sync exists on the monday.com marketplace, and Webflow's guide advises reviewing its publisher and the permissions it requests before you install it.
Form-backend tools that route Webflow forms to monday.com also exist. Those are subscriptions you add, not an official integration.
What you get when Overflow connects Webflow and monday.com
You don't get "a Zap". You get a connection that's mapped, tested and documented in both directions, so your team knows where every inquiry goes and where every published item comes from.
A two-way data-flow map before anything gets built
We list every form with the event it represents, the board, group and columns it fills, and who owns follow-up. Then every board that should publish: the CMS collection it feeds, which status triggers publishing and who approves. Same rule as every Overflow integration: map the trigger, fields, permissions, destination, failure handling and owner before building anything.
Inquiries on the right board, with an owner
We route by inquiry type (demo, quote, application, brief) to the right board and group. A native monday.com automation can then assign the item to a rep. Webflow's guide points to the Hotel Savoy site in its showcase, which uses a custom monday.com integration to track inquiries and bookings from form submissions.
Email, phone and date columns each need a specific JSON format, so we format every value to land usable for filters and automations. And we keep sensitive data such as card numbers out of forms entirely, because every mapped field lands on a board.
Approved on the board, live on the site
- Editorial calendar: a status change to Approved or Done publishes or updates the matching CMS item, and the board gets a Published status back.
- Careers: open roles on a recruiting board feed a careers Collection List. An external ID keeps repeated runs from creating duplicates, and a validThrough date expires filled roles.
It's built on the same Webflow CMS architecture we use on every site. You choose the review step: publish live directly, or stage first and publish after a check.
No duplicates, in either direction
We store the monday.com item ID (the pulseId) on each CMS item, so later runs update instead of duplicating. Status logic branches on the label index, not the label text, because admins can rename labels. On the lead side, a search step runs before any create.
Source and campaign data your team can see
Hidden fields on your Webflow forms pass UTM and landing page data into board columns. We build one reusable form component into your CMS templates with hidden page context, so a new service page's form already works. We only promise the attribution the chosen method supports.
Sized to your monday.com plan
We check your plan and expected volume before choosing the method. Standard's 250 integration actions a month can run out fast: monday.com notes that 250 actions are typically exhausted within days for accounts that map multiple columns per automation. Daily two-way syncs fit Pro or Enterprise better, by monday.com's own guidance. Or the API route, which moves the logic to your own endpoint.
A plan for when something fails
Webflow retries a failed form_submission webhook up to 3 more times at 10-minute intervals. monday.com's own docs disagree on whether its webhooks retry at all, so we build endpoints to be idempotent and log every delivery. With native Webflow forms, the submission stays in Webflow as a fallback. Every connection has a named owner and an alert.
Tested live, handed over to marketing
We send test submissions from the published site, check the items on the board, confirm CMS items publish and report back. Then we hand over: documentation, live training and video walkthroughs. Ownership, not dependency.
What usually breaks, and how we prevent it
The dangerous failures don't throw an error. The form still says "thank you", and the problem only surfaces when someone asks where the inquiries went, or why an approved post never went live.
- A Zap stops after a form edit. Triggers are tied to a specific form, so a rebuilt or duplicated form no longer feeds the board. You notice when the board goes quiet. Our rule: handover docs say what to check after every form change.
- The action quota runs out mid-month. On Standard, the second time an account hits its quota, automation runs pause after a 72-hour grace period. You notice when items stop arriving. Our rule: size the plan to volume upfront and watch monday.com's usage alerts.
- A status label gets renamed. Publishing logic that reads the label text breaks. Our rule: branch on the label index.
- Duplicate CMS items. Repeated runs create the same post or role twice. Our rule: store the item ID and update.
- Values in the wrong column format. They land empty or unusable for filters. Our rule: format per column type and test each field.
- An API token exposed in page code. Anyone can read it. Our rule: tokens live server-side only.
- Old Make v1 scenarios stop working. Our rule: build on v2 modules and keep an owner.
Which method fits your setup?
Start from your situation, not from a tool.
- Simple intake, little need for styling, maybe on monday.com Free: embed a WorkForm.
- Clients need a live status page without a monday.com seat: embed a shared board view, gated if needed. Webflow User Accounts were sunset on 29 January 2026, and Webflow now points to Clerk on Webflow Cloud for role-based access.
- Designed forms, moderate volume, one direction: native Webflow forms plus an automation platform, on Standard or higher.
- Editorial or careers boards that should publish to the site: an automation for simple cases; the API when you need reference fields, a staging step or status sync both ways.
- Deduplication, several boards, high volume: a native form plus webhook and API.
We choose during strategy, based on your monday.com plan, your boards and who edits them after launch. Not on habit.
Moving your site to Webflow without losing rankings or inquiries
Many teams on monday.com run a WordPress site. The worry is always the same: lost rankings, or inquiries that stop the week you launch.
Here's what we protect:
- Every old URL mapped with 301 redirects in Webflow.
- Metadata, schema markup and internal links.
- Every form rebuilt and mapped to the same board columns, so your monday.com automations keep firing.
monday.com stays untouched. Boards, automations and dashboards don't move. Only the publishing layer does.
How fast? We migrated Nedcargo from WordPress to Webflow in 4 weeks. Our typical builds take six to eight weeks. Your timeline depends on your site, so we agree it after discovery, not before.

How we deliver your Webflow monday.com integration
It's the same six-step process as every project at our B2B Webflow agency, with monday.com built into each step.
- Strategy and discovery. We audit the site, forms, boards, columns, automations, your monday.com plan and action usage, and write the two-way data-flow plan.
- Design system in Figma. Including form components and their default, error and success states.
- Webflow development. CMS collections that mirror the boards that publish, components and the connection itself.
- Content migration and technical SEO. With SEO and AI Search built in from the start.
- QA. Live test submissions, board items, CMS publishing and performance.
- Handover. Documentation, training and support.
Cost and timing are agreed upfront. One client put it this way: "they keep their promises."
Proof from B2B teams we've built for
To be straight with you: we don't have a published Webflow monday.com integration case yet, so you won't find sync stats here. We'd rather show nothing than numbers we can't back. What we can show is how we build and migrate B2B websites in Webflow.
- Nedcargo: migrated from WordPress to Webflow in 4 weeks, with 98+ Lighthouse performance.
- BlinkLab: 7 weeks from strategy to launch, built for its next growth phase after a $17.5M raise.
- Aumatics: 300%+ marketing ROI and 8+ new high-ticket clients.

What does a Webflow monday.com integration cost?
There's no public price list. We scope the work and agree a fixed price and timeline before we start, so you know both before you commit.
What drives the scope
- The number of forms, boards and CMS templates.
- One direction or both.
- The method: an embed is lighter than an automation, and both are lighter than an API build.
- A connection on an existing Webflow site, or part of a full build or migration.
- How much source and campaign data you need on your boards.
- Languages and markets (see Webflow localization).
When we'll tell you not to buy the build
Our rule is the least complex method that meets the requirements. If a WorkForm embed covers your intake and styling doesn't matter, that may be all you need, and we'll say so. If an automation covers the data flow, we won't sell you custom code to maintain.
Third-party costs you own
- A paid Webflow Site or Workspace plan, needed for Code Embed.
- Your monday.com plan: Standard or higher for automations and integrations; Pro or Enterprise to remove monday.com branding from WorkForms and for heavier two-way syncs (current prices on monday.com's pricing page).
- Automation platform fees for Zapier, Make or n8n, if that's the method.
- Hosting for an endpoint if we take the API route. Webflow Cloud can't mount an app on a custom domain on Starter and Basic site plans.
You see all of it before we start. No funnies, no surprises. Book a call and we'll scope it with you.
Webflow monday.com integration FAQ
Does monday.com have a native Webflow integration?
No. There's no monday.com app in the Webflow Marketplace and no Webflow block among monday.com's native integrations. You connect them through an embed, an automation platform or the two APIs.
Which monday.com plan do I need to connect Webflow?
Standard or higher for Zapier, Make, n8n or webhook workflows. The Free plan has no automations or integrations, but WorkForm embeds still work on Free.
Can Webflow and monday.com sync both ways?
Yes. Each direction runs as its own workflow, or one endpoint handles both. Zapier and Make use separate Zaps or scenarios per direction, without a locked two-way binding.
Can approved monday.com items publish to the Webflow CMS automatically?
Yes. A status change on the board can create or update a live CMS item. Store the monday.com item ID on the CMS item to avoid duplicates, and choose between live publishing and a review step.
Can I embed a monday.com dashboard on my Webflow site?
Not for anonymous visitors. Dashboards only show to monday.com account holders, so share and embed a board view instead.
Why can't Zapier find my Webflow form?
Zapier only sees a Webflow form after it has received one submission. Publish the site, send a test entry through the live form, then reselect the site and form in your Zap.
Is it safe to put a monday.com API key in Webflow custom code?
No. Code Embeds and page custom code run in the browser, so the token becomes public. Keep it on a server-side endpoint.
How long does a Webflow monday.com integration take?
It depends on the number of forms and boards, the direction and whether it's part of a build or migration. Typical builds take six to eight weeks; we agree your timeline after discovery.
Do you connect only the forms, or build the whole site?
Both are possible. Most clients have us build or migrate the site and engineer the connection as part of it, so forms, CMS collections and tracking are designed together.
Ready to keep monday.com and give marketing a faster website?
Your website shouldn't be the reason an inquiry waits, or a post sits approved but unpublished. Keep monday.com, move the site to Webflow, and we engineer the connection both ways.
